The Chosen: Called by Name

The Chosen sermon series invites us to encounter Jesus through the lives of those who first followed him—the overlooked, the hesitant, the broken, and the ordinary people who discovered that God’s grace seeks us before we ever seek God.

Inspired by the storytelling of The Chosen, this series explores the biblical stories behind the characters Jesus calls: fishermen, women on the margins, children, skeptics, and seekers. Each week, we pair Scripture with reflection on how Jesus meets people exactly where they are—and calls them into lives deeper, braver, and more meaningful than they imagined.

This is not a series about perfect faith or heroic disciples. It is about a God who knows our names, our stories, and our wounds—and still calls us beloved. Together, we will explore what it means to be chosen not because we are worthy, but because God’s love is generous and persistent.
